Our client, the Policy Advocacy Group of a major financial services firm that provides research and recommendations in the asset management industry, retains SCA to prepare comment letters to regulators and produce research papers on the asset management industry.
For instance, recently, Morningstar retained SCA to draft a comment letter to the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding a recently proposed rule (Tailored Shareholder Reports, Treatment of Annual Prospectus Updates for Existing Investors, and Improved Fee and Risk Disclosure for Mutual Funds and Exchange-Traded Funds; Fee Information in Investment Company Advertisements). SCA also prepared a blog for the retail investor summarizing the recommendations made to the SEC.
